A move up the coast and an early spring

If I've been a little slower getting posts out it's because I've been in the process of moving up the coast to Maryland. I've found a new professional home as a visiting researcher (postdoctoral fellow) at the Smithsonian Environmental Research Center in Edgewater, MD.

Instead of adjusting to a colder winter, I've been treated to one of the earliest springs on record. Juvenile crabs are already moving around in the Rhode River, at least a month ahead of schedule.
